“We’re quietly providing a third-generation razor-fold mobile phone,” he said in a post viewed by the Android agency.

While no specific details were given, the Lenovo CEO explained that the device would have more computing power (apparently thanks to the new processor), a better user interface, and a more precise design. Needless to say, the clamshell shape will be retained, although the Razr 3 is expected to have more polish to make it better compete with the Samsung clamshell series.

No information has been shared on when Razer 3 will be able to see the light of day, but it is likely that everything will happen at some point next year. China will receive the first new Motorola Claim Shell phone and its global launch will be completed by the end of the year.

Fold pressure

It is very clear that the fold revolution is taking place and Motorola was one of the pioneers of this form factor. However, companies like Samsung are turning it into a mainstream, while Motorola, Microsoft, and a few others are offering advanced designs that fully contribute to concept development.

For example, it is assumed that Microsoft works on three-screen devices that allow owners to use the device even on larger models, depending on the direction of each display.

For now, however, the transfer of ClemShell phones is still in its infancy, and the upcoming Razr 3 will be very successful not only in China but also in international markets.
